The Living Bread
June 8, we celebrated Shavuot, one of the Feasts of the Lord. We Gentiles know it as Pentecost. It is also known as the Feast of Weeks. Traditionally it is believed the Torah (the first five books of the Bible) was given to Moses on this day. "In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at evening is the Lord's Passover. And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of Unleavened Bread." (In this passage Passover is considered the Sabbath, and Unleavened Bread is the "morrow after the Sabbath".) "And you shall count from the morrow after the Sabbath…seven Sabbaths shall there be complete: even unto the morrow after the seventh Sabbath shall you number fifty days." Leviticus 23:5,6,15,16 "And when the day of Pentecost was now come, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came from heaven a sound of the rushing of a mighty wind, and it filled the house where they were sitting .And there appeared unto them tongues parting asunder, like as of fire; and it sat upon each of them. And they were filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance." Acts 2:1-4

About us
May 21 found us on our way from Israel to Texas, by way of London. Traveling used to be a pleasant adventure, but with the increase of terrorist attacks and the need for heightened security, it has become a necessary activity to get from one place to another. We are thankful for the opportunity to be with our family and friends in the USA. We have spent time with most of our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. We enjoyed Alayna and Gracelynn's dance recital and were proud grandparents as Cody graduated from high school. We assisted Melodi and Ron to move, then the next week flew to Colorado and visited our nephews and their families in the west of the state. The mountains are majestic with the evergreens and snow drifts and waterfalls. The valleys are carpeted with multicolored wildflowers. It is breathtakingly beautiful.
We left the Center in Migdal in good hands, with Ellen, and Dana from Texas and Genny from North Carolina. We are very thankful to them for volunteering at the Center while we are in the States.

Outreach to Pensioners
Ellen, Dana, and Genny continued to make deliveries to the pensioners in our absence.
Other Assistance
They also delivered the assistance given for Sheni.

Druz Believers
Fike and Amal's family and other people of the village attacked them physically and again destroyed the interior of their home. The police got involved and some of the attackers were taken to jail.

Beit Shalom
Ellen and the other ladies give a good report of guests coming to the Center.

Morning Star
Please continue to pray for this congregation as they pray and fast for the nation of Israel and work toward getting into their new building.
Your prayers and support sustain us and we are so grateful to the Lord for each of you. Please continue to pray for us that we will follow His leadership as we return to Israel next month to serve Him there.
